Hey Mike, your comment on by post, brought my interest to introduce my self to your substack. I'm curious how long you've been substacking? And if you get feedback and if you feel you are impacting the Los Angeles issues at all? Blessings to you and yours!

Hi Terry. I just started posting about a month ago. Parts of Substack I like, others I hate. I just noticed my posts have a screw up but it's hard to get help because it only appears on a certain page and I don't know how to describe the issue. Not much feedback yet, but that goes with all social media. Unless I say something that gets people angry, there's little response. My big issue with social media is that people pour out their heart and soul and they're lucky to get a thumbs up. Others post the same drivel over and over and people are falling over themselves to brown nose. So, I guess it's best to just write for yourself and that's all that matters.

Thanks Mike, I agree with everything you said! It's good to get confirmation from you. I figured it was just me and my lack of knowledge. The Idea of substack is great! But it seems to be like anything else, it's all about the money! I feel sorry for anyone who is trying to make a living in substack. You don't have a pay account, do you? I wonder if that makes a difference? I personally think the minimum subscription is way out of line! My posting is to help others not for profit. And If I was in it for the money I feel my value might possibly be worth 25 cents, not $8.00/mo. Have a blessed night. Thanks for reading my rant!

No, I decided to not set up a pay account. I'm one of those old fools who still believes that the Internet should be free.
